Fortnite is a 100 player battle royale where you glide onto a island from the sky, collect loot on the map then battle it out to try be the last player alive, in this game you can play as a solo, duo or squad. Fortnite was released on july the 21st. 2017. During fortnites run over the years they have been releasing seasons every few months, during these new seaons they introduce new content into the game to keep players on their toes and entertained. Fortnite so far has had 20 seaons, but there is a period where everyone was playing and it was all anyone was talking about. This period i am talking about was season 1-8, during these seaons players loved the game, the content was fresh and kept coming. Fortnite has influenced the gaming industry tremendously. Many gaming companies have implemented systems that were brought to fame from fortnite such as the battlepass, in-game currency, character skins and many more. After everyone started to see the success in fortnite many more battle royale games came out even some big companies such as Activision who created Call of duty made two, one being called Warzone which was a big hit in the gaming community.

Fortnite is still definetly fun to play with friends when you are bored, but the downside to the game now is the skill gap. With the years passing, players in fortnite learn new strategys to get a advantage on their oppenent weather thats with weapons or building. This creates a big skill gap between people who don't play the game often. Other than that the game is definetly worth trying out if you have not played it yet.
